Mobile Banking platform is a middleware solution that provides mobile access to the bank accounts. By using SMS or WAP, the bank customers can manage their bank accounts, check their balances, perform check requests, money transfers, pay some bills, all of these by simply using their mobile phones. The platform allows three possible interfaces: SMS messages, WAP interface and STK application.
The platform is ready to be integrated with any bank transactional system, by using SOAP/XML, RMI, HTTP or a direct integration with any middleware with a defined API.
The platform connects to the SMS Center in order to receive the SMS commands from the clients; it parses the message contents and performs requests on the transactional system of the bank. After finishing the operation, it sends back the response to the customer, through an SMS message.
The bank staff may have access to a backoffice interface that allows the management of the available operations, presents reports and statistics and allows CRM options to interact with the costumers through SMS messaging.
